Maryland Lottery Prizes total more than $28.8 million, with 30 tickets worth $10,000 or more
The Mega Millions jackpot has grown to $575 million for Tuesday’s drawing as no one matched all six numbers, however three Maryland players won third-tier prizes of $10,000 on the multi-state game, one each in Rockville, Waldorf and Williamsport.
Meanwhile two scratch-off players who purchased the $5 THE BIG SPINgame took their turns at the wheel, with one from District Heights winning $150,000 and one from Baltimore winning $125,000.
Across Maryland, the Lottery paid more than $28.8 million in prizes during the seven-day period ending Aug. 26, including 32 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed during that span.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How to Claim page of mdlottery.com.

Lottery headquarters is in the MontgomeryPark Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins).
