There are many variations of women’s haircut, but they’re based around five main types. These are: the blunt cut (below the shoulders and all one length), the layered cut (lengths of hair cut up at an angle creating a neatly layered effect at slightly varied lengths), the bob (above the shoulder, blunt or layered), the shag (extremely layered often with a razor), and the pixie cut (short, cut above the nape of the neck).

A women’s haircut begins with a consultation, followed by a wash, cut, and style. They may make suggestions based on what they think is possible for your hair type and what you’ve told them before progressing. When you’re happy with what they’re going to do, your hair will be washed, conditioned, cut and finished with either a rough-dry or blow dry to really show off your new style.
